Index
The index
designation (e.g. FTSE 100) shows the index within which the
company is currently included. The following index designations
are used:
FTSE 100
Index
FTSE Mid
250 Index
FTSE SmallCap
Index
FTSE Fledgling
Index
Companies
whose shares are temporarily suspended, e.g. pending an announcement,
are ranked at the last available share price. Depending on circumstances,
other suspended companies may be retained at the suspension
price, or removed from the rankings altogether and replaced,
according to the rules of the FTSE Actuaries’ Share Indices
Steering Committee.
Suspended
companies are recognised by an ‘S’ flag alongside the latest
share price in the top right hand corner of the panel.
